Volunteer coaches required to deliver physical activity and well-being programme (training provided)

We are offering an exciting opportunity for two reliable and motivated individuals, to deliver the multi-dimensional physical activity component of an innovative PhD research project.

Working in conjunction with the charity Llamau, "Leaps and Bounds" is a 12-week programme designed to enhance the psychosocial skills of homeless young adults (16-24), through providing a range of psychologically-informed physical activities.

The ideal candidate will hold some knowledge and understanding of the complex challenges faced by this population, and have experience of engaging with young people in community settings, ideally through the delivery of physical activities. Candidates with the ability to incorporate mindfulness principles would be of particular interest., however this is not essential.
